Our Services

Three ways we engage

Each engagement is scoped to a specific part of your finance workflow. We do not offer off-the-shelf software — we work alongside your team for a defined period, with clear deliverables.

Close Process Review

Close Process Review

RM 1,300

A focused two-week review of your monthly close, accounts-payable cycle and reconciliations. We read your process documentation, walk through the last close with your controller, and write a brief on where careful AI assists might reduce manual handling.

  • Line-item coding suggestions
  • Invoice triage assessment
  • Audit-ready prioritised brief
  • Data lineage notes included

Invoice Triage Setup

Invoice Triage Setup

RM 5,180

A measured deployment of an AI assist that suggests GL codes and flags anomalies on incoming AP invoices. We integrate read-only with your accounting platform, train on twelve months of posted entries, and route every suggestion to a human approver.

  • SQL Account, AutoCount, Xero, NetSuite
  • Six-week supervised pilot
  • Exception-handling playbook
  • Auditor-shareable documentation

Quarterly Finance Stewardship

Quarterly Stewardship

RM 4,690 / quarter

An ongoing advisory engagement for finance leaders whose teams already use AI in close, AP, or expense workflows. Each quarter we examine suggestions the system has made, sample journal entries it touched, and write a memo for your audit committee.

  • MFRS and LHDN alignment
  • Private controller question line
  • Audit committee memo each quarter
  • Annual board review included

Why Suria

What we bring to the engagement

Our approach is measured. We do not push for full automation — we look for specific, bounded tasks where AI assistance reduces repetitive work without removing the human judgment your auditors and regulators expect.

Compliance-first mindset

Every recommendation is written with your next external audit in mind. We note data lineage, flag audit implications, and frame findings for your compliance function.

Controller-level dialogue

We speak with your controller directly, not through a sales layer. Our reviews reflect what actually happens in your close cycle, not what the software vendor describes.

Human approval at every step

No journal entry is posted by AI alone. Every coding suggestion and anomaly flag routes to a named approver in your team before touching your books.

Platform familiarity

We have worked with SQL Account, AutoCount, Xero, and NetSuite. We integrate read-only and do not require access to your live posting rights.

Written deliverables only

You receive a written brief, playbook, or memo — not a dashboard you must interpret. Our outputs are designed to sit in your board pack or audit file.

MFRS and LHDN awareness

Our quarterly stewardship tracks updates to Malaysian Financial Reporting Standards and LHDN guidance, so your AI workflow stays current with regulatory expectations.

Is your close process ready for a structured review?

We begin with a brief, no-obligation discovery call with your CFO or controller. Most clients receive their first written deliverable within three weeks of engagement.

Common Questions

Before you reach out

What size of finance team benefits most from a Close Process Review?
The review suits companies with two to fifteen people in finance — typically at the stage where the team manages a monthly close but has not yet formalised which tasks are candidates for AI assistance. Larger teams with a dedicated controller are equally welcome, particularly if the close cycle extends beyond five working days.
Do you deploy AI software into our systems?
For the Close Process Review, no software is installed. We read your documentation and observe your process. For Invoice Triage Setup, we integrate read-only with your existing accounting platform — we do not require posting rights or administrative credentials. All configurations are documented and handed to you at the end of the engagement.
How does the six-week supervised pilot work for Invoice Triage?
During the pilot, every AI-generated GL code suggestion is reviewed alongside you and your AP team. We track which suggestions your team accepts, adjusts, or overrides, and we use that data to refine the model's confidence thresholds. At the end of six weeks, you decide whether to continue the workflow. The exception-handling playbook documents what to do when the AI is uncertain or returns a low-confidence flag.
What does the quarterly audit committee memo contain?
The memo covers the volume of AI suggestions made, the acceptance rate by your team, any notable anomaly flags, and our assessment of whether the workflow remains within the parameters set at setup. We also note any MFRS or LHDN developments that are relevant to how AI-assisted entries should be treated for the period. The memo is written to be attached to your board pack or shared with external auditors on request.
How is pricing structured — is there a retainer or per-project fee?
The Close Process Review (RM 1,300) and Invoice Triage Setup (RM 5,180) are fixed-fee project engagements. Quarterly Finance Stewardship (RM 4,690 per quarter) is billed at the start of each quarter. There are no hidden costs or variable charges — the fee covers all deliverables described in the engagement scope.
How do you handle the financial data we share with you?
Data shared during any engagement is used solely for the work described in your engagement letter. We do not retain posted journal entry data after the engagement closes. For Invoice Triage Setup, the training data remains on your infrastructure — we do not transfer transaction records to external servers. A data processing agreement is provided with every Invoice Triage or Stewardship engagement.
